Dia de los Muertos -Music, food and beautiful altars will be on view starting at 4:30 p.m. - Watch fire dancers and visit the thematic face painting booth. Costumes are encouraged. Ofrenda or Offering, in the traditional Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos, is created to remember the dead and to honor ancestors.
Verde Canyon Railroads Raptors on the Rails - See 5-yr-old Sonora spread her majestic wings onboard the 4-hour train ride. By partnering with Scottsdale’s Liberty Wildlife, Verde Canyon Railroad provides visitors the opportunity to see wild raptors at the depot and onboard the train. Liberty Wildlife shares the majesty of a rescued bald eagle with visitors to the depot and on the train on select Saturdays throughout the year. Get up close to Sonora, the only bald eagle in the world that regularly enjoys a train ride. Though Sonora will be feasting on raw chicken, passengers will be loading their plates with luscious wings and other tasty appetizers.

Festival of Trees -Area artists and galleries will have over 45 Christmas trees and Gingerbread houses fully decorated in fun and exquisite ways. The trees all have different themes and incorporate different materials - some are indoor and others are outdoor trees. Kick of your holiday season with a beautiful themed tree already pre-decorated.
