Sedona Gallery Association 1st Friday Tour- 5 p.m.  Sedona's finest art galleries invite you to enjoy an evening of openings, special guests, artist receptions and celebrations at their 1st Friday Gallery Tour from 5 - 8pm.
All guests are welcome to attend free of charge and enjoy the Sedona Trolley, which does continuous loops to all locations.A whirlwind of mesmerizing talent, intoxicating images and entertainment, the Sedona Gallery Association tour is one of Sedona's "things to see".

Community Meditation Gathering - Open meditations are offered every Sunday at the McLean Meditation Center, 411 State Route 179, in Sedona. . Anyone can have the experience of meditation whether they're new to meditation or already have an ongoing practice. 2:00 pm Sundays. During the 45 minute program, simple meditation guidance is given. Each week a different meditation is offered which can include a Loving Kindness Meditation, Mindfulness, Visualization, Breath Awareness, or Gratitude Meditation. No experience is necessary to attend. Walk ins welcome, though you must arrive on time to participate. $5 suggested donation.

Silent meditation - 4:00 pm Sundays. For more experienced meditators, join a silent meditation period every Sunday from 4:00-4:45 pm. The program is self-directed, and there will be no guidance or instruction. Participants must have prior meditation experience and must arrive on time to join in. $5 suggested donation.

Scientific Vortex Information - 1:00pm M.I.T. Honors Graduate, Pete A. Sanders Jr., teaches attendees how to understand and tap Sedona's famous Vortexes for enhanced prayer, meditation, mind/body healing and outside the box creative thinking. 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Los Abrigados Resort (160 Portal Lane) $15/person. Call (928) 203-5353 to reserve a seat. Also included; directions to Sedona's 8 best sites, how to find vortexes in your home area, and the blood pressure lowering technique that Mr. Sanders has taught at M.I.T. and to the Pentagon Meditation Club.

Personal Spirituality with Barbara Mayer - 3 p.m. Join, Barbara Mayer, Ordained InterFaith/InterSpiritual minister, former Catholic nun, and author of Beyond Religion, for an afternoon of conversation and practices in personal spirituality. All who are eager to share and discover greater truth and compassion in their own lives will find support through meaningful discussion on topics such as attitude, intention, personal transformation, and meditation. This program offers the community an opportunity for sharing, questions and discussion as well as a meditation experience. All who want to become loving presences in their own lives as well as in the world around them are invited to participate. Donation of $5 suggested. Living History - 10:00 a.m.  At the Sedona Heritage Museum.  Living History: Nadia Caillou will present her father Alan Caillou's Story. Caillou was a WWII hero & POW, prolific author, television actor, and screenwriter to take his books to tv and film. Caillou spent his final years in Sedona. Another interesting Sedona character. Join us the 2nd Wednesday of most months for history based programs.

Sedona World Wisdom Days - Sedona's four-day "Wisdom Fest" features Hollywood stars, best selling authors, informative workshops, book fair and inspirational film festival designed to uplift the human spirit. Over 30 presenters including best selling authors, don Miguel Ruiz (The Four Agreements), Jean Houston, actress Mackenzie Phillips and social activist and philanthropist Mary Fisher. "Wisdom Passports" provide an all-inclusive pass to Friday evening's opening ceremony and Saturday and Sunday's featured presenters and keynote speakers. Festival participants will be given the opportunity to express their expanded inner wisdom by placing prayers, affirmations and intentions in a 7-foot tall "Wisdom Bell," commissioned by Goldenstein Gallery and crafted by Sedona artist Cheston Trammel.
